Multi-enzyme for low stomach acid?

I have begun to take a pill of multienzyme with my dinner because of feeling full for long periods of time after eating and burping. This supplement contains many different enzymes plus betaine hydrochloride with pepsin. I took one pill this morning with a big breakfas and now at night it seems I have some heartburn could that mean that I don't need the pill?
