Crinone 8% in a normal pregnancy?

My dr just put me on crinone 8% today to be used every other day. I dont have low progesterone levels, I have a subchorionic hemorrage, and with my son I had an irritable uterus. Im curious if this progestrone supplement can be harmful if my levels are normal?

Joint Supplement Confusion?

So my arthritic 15 year old OTTB needs some joint supplements (they said his arthritis is pretty bad...). Gaining muscles is the only way to get weight on you. Going to the gym is a good step. Do some light weight lifting and exercises. Avoid running because this burns fat.

My husband is in great shape but he wants to tone up. Is all fish oil the same?

I was on fish oil supplement for some time but stopped taking it because it made me nauseous and I tasted fish after wards. My doctor told me I could switch to Flax Seed Oil supplements and I would get the same benefits. Now, I'm finding out that not just any oil will do and while Flax Seed is good, nothing compares to true fish oil. Is this true? If I need to switch back to fish oil, do you know of one that will not make me nauseous or cause me to burp and taste fish after wards? I've read some really good things about Krill Oil, what do you think of that? Any advice or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Electrolyte drinks will be your best friend, along with multi-vitamins. They say don't take Tylenol but it's only one weekend, I've never tried Alka-Seltzer though, but I hear it works miracles. Keep your drinking for the evening and the night. You'll probably have a few beers during the day but space them out with gatorade or whatever. Also, take diarrhoea prevention tablets, like immodium. They'll stop you from sh!tting which is great because A you won't dehydrate as fast and B festival toilets are GROSS. Eat plenty of food, too. It'll keep your stomach lined, stop you getting drunk so fast and help to keep you hydrated, and if you can, get hold of some Tropicana.

Why is my hair thinning so much ?

it may just be hormonal.. as you get older.. even though you are 17 your hormones are changing and always will.. your body may just be going through a transition.. even though you are not stressed maybe your body is? it could be breakage too.. which could be from the burn. if it has grown out now though not too sure why it would break off but that can happen. if it gets worse i would recommend going to the doctor. for now just baby it, and it you are not already takin it i suggest biotin.. its vitamin b7 and really good for the hair skin and nails. hope this helps! :)

No you aren't doing it right. Your breasts are never empty, and as long as you are nursing you will produce milk. What makes you think you have "low supply"? When you "top her up with formula" what you are telling your body is it doesn't need to make milk. If you stop all formula and just put baby to breast when she is fussy your production will increase. At 4 weeks she is at growth spurt age also, which is a time when they want to nurse frequently. They tend to do what is called "cluster feeding", and at those times they can want to nurse several times an hour. This is normal and what baby is supposed to do. As long as baby is making wet diapers and gaining weight your production is just fine. One warning, don't fall for the pediatricians "booby trap" that they may tell you baby isn't gaining "enough" weight. Most pediatricians only use the standard charts for formula fed babies, and have no clue how a breast fed baby is supposed to progress. If you want to form a fully breast feeding relationship stop all bottles and formula and just put baby to breast on demand.

Hello, I've recently been experiencing very dark and thin stool. It is almost black in color, contains what appears to be unprocessed particles, appears very loose and amorphous, and possesses a wispy and almost hair-like quality. I am a young female who has not been taking supplements of any sort or consuming similarly colored foods. I certainly do not eat much and experience frequent stomach upset and diarrhea upon eating. Taking Doxycycline after surgical abortion?

I had a surgical abortion 2 days ago and they gave me doxycycline tablets to take for 10 days with a meal. The label says "Take twice daily. For best results do not take with antacids or iron"...I had 1 yesterday when I got up with my usual breakfast cereal (that I just realized today contains iron), a banana and coffee (with milk) and the 2nd tablet later with two slices of pizza, a salad and pepsi. Today I found out that you're not supposed to take doxycycline with iron, calcium, antacids, dairy products, or laxatives within 2 hours before or after. Really confused here cause almost everything I eat has some amount of iron or calcium in it. Does it mean supplements or any food containing these with decrease the effect of the doxycycline? Also, see if you can qualify for Medi-Cal to help with your medical expenses. I had serious back issues at one time and wasn't able to drive, so I know how you feel. I now have metal in my back and have been better ever since my surgery. It's a fantastic water and laser show inside the hotel with shows at 2, 6, 8 and 10pm daily. Do see it when it gets dark, maybe the 8 or 10pm show. You can get a free shuttle to Sam's Town from Harrah's on the strip and other strip locations. Check out Sam's Town website for shuttle times. Definitely one of the hidden gems of Vegas and well worth the trip.

Hardgainer needs help!?

Ok so I have been training for about 6 years now. While the first two were filled with impressive gains, the years following were filled with frustration as I managed to pack on maybe one or two more pounds of muscle PER YEAR. I have tried many routines, as well as eating up to 7 meals a day consisting mainly of grain carbs and lean chicken. I am 5'10 and weigh about 160-165 and am probably around 13% body fat. The problem is, no matter how much or how often i eat and how intensely I train, I am not seeing results like I should. Recently I read about "abbreviated routines" for hardgainers, consisting of maybe only 3 compound exercises per workout performed only twice per week. My initial impression is that this seems shockingly low and that I am capable of much more than this. It is likely that I have been overtraining, but cutting down to that extent seems daunting. So my question is, is such a routine right for my body type and does anyone have experience with abbreviated routines? I will supplement such a routine with around 4,000 calories per day.

I'm the same way, in my case to stay healthy I HAVE to gain weight pretty much and running was my favorite,I use to win every race in middle school and high school but I had to stop and never even run anymore,you seem like a pretty good weight to me, but I think if you cut down your schedule a little bit and in between have resting days where you drink protein shakes then your goal will be accomplished. Question about taking st. john's wort before wisdom teeth removal?

I started taking st. john's wort about a month ago.. I would take 3 a day because that's what the bottle says. I am getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning and am being put to sleep for it because I'm getting all 4 removed and one is impacted. Now I'm really worried though because I was reading online that you should not take these supplements before being given any type of anesthesia because it interacts with it..? Starting all cardio workout . Good idea?

I dont have any access to a weight set and i dont want to pay for a gym membership. So im going to try an all cardio workout. Is this a good idea? Intense cardio about 5-6 times a week. Im 17 years old , m, about 6'3 and 160-170 pounds. I dont really care about getting big and bulked but more lean, low body fat, ripped. Will I past my drug test for juvenile probation?

I smoked weed yesterday, getting drug tested in 2 hrs. I kept drinking water to dilute my urine and i ate a lot so i wont burn the THC contaminated fat (or at least i hope). To hide the dilution i just taken 10 500mg vitamin B supplement so my piss will be yellow when i submit my urine. I am a HEAVY smoker,smoke like an Oz a week.
