You didn't say how your back was injured. If it's from a job related injury, file a workers' compensation claim, they will pay for all of your care. If not, you may want to check your area for a community clinic. They usually charge for services on a sliding scale depending on your income. Also, see if you can qualify for Medi-Cal to help with your medical expenses. I had serious back issues at one time and wasn't able to drive, so I know how you feel. I now have metal in my back and have been better ever since my surgery. Make sure you get all the care you can because it's really hard to deal with the pain if you don't take care of it, and it makes it difficult to walk. Hopefully, it will be something minor for you.
